Totally Super Cool

Totally Super Cool is an educational storybook that encourages meaningful conversations between caregivers and their children with facial angiofibroma associated with TSC. Designed for reading levels between 8–12 years of age, this storybook illustrates different ways children can comfortably open up to others about their disease. Totally Super Cool introduces a brother and sister, Tori and Tommy, who both have facial angiofibroma associated with TSC. This story follows the duo’s interactions at school, with their friends, and at appointments with their healthcare specialists to learn how to take care of themselves in their journey with TSC. The overarching message throughout is that despite the challenges this condition may present, it doesn’t take away from the fact that Tori and Tommy are totally super cool kids.
